A Brief History of TFL

The Fallen Lords started 10 years ago primarily as a PC based RTS clan with it's origins in Homeworld Cataclysm. The name of the clan came from a game called Myth: The Fallen Lords,  and to some of it's members holds a profound meaning. Myself coming from a group called TLSC being high in command and leaving in a somewhat 'Fallen' state. The ideals of TFL were simple in effect and have worked through the years in creating a dedicated group of like minded gamers. With the objective of dominating other clans and having fun while doings so TFL has lasted 8 years, in gaming mythology this is some achievement. Following Homeworld Cataclysm, TFL moved into Homeworld 2 with success then onto Star Wars: Empire at War with amazing success. There have been other divisions over the years with varying degrees of success usually depending on the quality of the game itself. Company of Heroes, Sins of Solar Empire, Supreme Commander, Command & Conquer... the list goes on. Some games were sucesses but most were failures due to various problems. So for the past couple of years TFL has faded into the background waiting for a quality game to appear that we can concentrate on. Games like Aliens v Predator were to be such games but after bombing due to bad developers TFL couldn't re-awaken with the force it has shown in the past. There seems at times to be little hope in the future of PC gaming with everything being downsized to cater for the kiddie generation of Xbox/PS3 users. Games that require skill beyond ''Spam X unit = win'' are few and far between. However there may be hope in the re-emergence of a Homeworld fan group striving to rebuild the scattered community. TFL has decided to support this wholesale as....let's face it, it's Homeworld! We will Play, Teach and of course Pwn all who choose it. All you need is in the downloads section should you choose to join us. I am personally on a mission to try and contact all Homeworld players of old. Maybe it's far fetched but right now I want to dream.

The Future and Ideals of TFL

The ideals of TFL is to create teams of immense skill and maturity towards gaming with the goal of owning all others. We have achieved this before and we WILL achieve this again. Our reputation is very important to us. We have been both feared and respected but never ridiculed. Do you want to smash other clans, take trophies and be respected for doing so? This is the place for you!

In addition to this we are venturing back into the Homeworld series of games with an extra role in mind. We are offering new players (believe it or not there are still new players showing up in Homeworld!!) the chance to train with us and to learn a better understanding of the game. This is to universally enrich everyone's playing experiences.

The future of TFL is and always will be upto you. Your dedication will lead us into new games and new directions all with the same ideals we have treasured for 10 years. Anyone can lead a division, we actively encourage it and will support you all the way. The future of TFL? It's yours!
